The Poetry of Alfhild Berg Salls
The lightning flashed - out went the lights -
The flashlight?-where? Or candlelight?
At last the darkness is deleted,
By flickering candle light defeated.
Now - what to do? In days of yore
Great grandparents finished many a chore
Without more light - Yet I feel blind,
Hampered by dimness, confined.
Unable but to sit and think
And jot my musings down in ink.
